Operation Allies Welcome
After the fall of Kabul, the United States resettles more than 76,000 Afghans through a DHS-led operation: the largest resettlement of wartime allies since the evacuation of South Vietnam in 1975.
Communities across the country absorbed the newcomers, from established hubs like Fremont, California's Little Kabul to towns with no prior Afghan presence.
