Ibtihaj Muhammad competes in hijab at the Olympics

Fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad becomes the first American to compete at the Olympics in hijab and the first Muslim-American woman to win an Olympic medal (team sabre bronze, Rio 2016).

She was a five-time world medalist and later a State Department sports ambassador.
